A few finer details about neck and shoulder pain...

1) Posture: Pay attention to how you are sitting, are your head and shoulders pitching forward while you're looking at your phone or computer? Do your shoulders creep up toward your ears?

2) Stress: Stress can play a big role in how we hold our neck and shoulders. Many people hold tension in their shoulders in particular when they are stressed.

One important detail to consider that's not mentioned in the accompanying video is sleep. Sometimes neck pain causes issues with our sleep and sometimes our posture in our sleep affects our neck pain. Pay attention to how you sleep and notice if your pillow is at a good angle for supporting you.
